First seen Jun 25, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 2 times

Summary

This study looks at how to help pediatric primary care offices better use a proven program called DOCC for children with behavior problems and ADHD. The program involves counseling and support for families. Researchers will compare different strategies to help clinic teams adopt and deliver this care. About 450 participants, including doctors, care managers, and families, will take part across up to 24 clinics in Pennsylvania.

What this could mean

Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.

Active substance

Doctor Office Collaborative Care (DOCC) – a behavioral treatment program for disruptive behavior and ADHD, delivered in primary care

What this could lead to

If successful, this could show how to make evidence-based mental health care for children more widely available in regular doctor's offices.

What could go wrong

This is an implementation study, not a test of a new drug or cure. It focuses on how well clinics adopt the program, not on whether the program itself works better than other treatments.
