First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 38 times

Summary

This study aims to develop better ways to perform MRI scans by testing new imaging techniques in healthy volunteers and current NIH participants. Up to 1,000 adults aged 18 and older will have one or more MRI scans, each lasting 20 minutes to 2 hours, with some requiring contrast dye or blood draws. The goal is to refine MRI methods to produce clearer images of the body.
