Alberta hospitals test new system to improve Life-Saving dialysis care

Summary
This study aims to improve care for critically ill patients who need emergency dialysis in Alberta's intensive care units (ICUs). It will test a new, standardized approach to delivering this life-sustaining treatment across 18 hospitals. The goal is to improve patient recovery, reduce the time patients spend in the hospital, and lower healthcare costs.
