Summary
This study tested a simple questionnaire to find women at risk for osteoporosis during their hospital stay. Over 3,200 women aged 50-80 answered questions about risk factors, and those at risk were offered a bone density scan. The goal was to catch osteoporosis earlier and connect patients with a rheumatologist for treatment if needed.
