Scientists hunt for immune clues in rare salivary gland cancers

NCT ID NCT06047236

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study is for 300 people with salivary gland tumors (both cancerous and non-cancerous) to learn how the immune system reacts to these rare cancers. Researchers will collect tumor tissue and blood samples before and after treatment to find immune markers that might predict how the disease will progress. The goal is to better understand the disease and pave the way for future immunotherapy treatments.
