First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Jun 01, 2026 · Updated 25 times

Summary

This study tested whether a drug called imlifidase, given with other medications, could prevent the immune system from attacking a new kidney in highly sensitized patients. These patients have a very high risk of rejecting a donated kidney. The study was stopped early after only 3 participants, so the results are limited.
