This study tests a two-step approach during surgery for people with advanced or returning colorectal cancer. First, a drug makes cancer cells glow under blue light so surgeons can see and remove them. Then, red laser light activates the drug to kill any remaining cancer cells. The goal is to improve tumor control and reduce recurrence. About 21 adults will take part.
