First seen Apr 24, 2026 · Last updated May 02, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study tests whether using a patient's existing CT scan to guide the colonoscope can make the procedure faster, less painful, and easier for doctors. About 200 adults getting a colonoscopy will be randomly assigned to either standard care or CT-assisted insertion. The goal is to see if this approach improves patient experience and reduces physician workload.
