New monthly shot aims to keep schizophrenia symptoms at bay

Summary
This study tests whether a long-acting injection of iloperidone can prevent schizophrenia symptoms from getting worse compared to a placebo. About 400 adults aged 18 to 65 with schizophrenia will receive either the drug or a placebo injection. The main goal is to see how long it takes for symptoms to worsen in each group.
