Summary

This study tests whether iloperidone, a drug already used for schizophrenia, can help lower blood pressure in people whose hypertension is not controlled by their current medications. About 240 adults will receive either iloperidone or a placebo for 4 weeks, and researchers will measure changes in systolic blood pressure. The goal is to see if this drug can be a safe and effective add-on treatment for uncontrolled hypertension.
