Engineered immune cells take on Hard-to-Treat cancers

Summary
This early-phase study tests a new treatment using specially engineered natural killer (NK) cells boosted with IL-15 to fight advanced solid tumors that have not responded to standard therapies. About 12 adults aged 18-70 with metastatic or recurrent cancers like breast, liver, or lung cancer will receive the cells to see if it is safe and tolerable. The goal is to control the disease, not cure it, and participants will be monitored for side effects and tumor response.
