Glowing dye may help surgeons find hidden cancer during colon surgery

NCT ID NCT07638956

First seen Jun 12, 2026 · Last updated Jun 12, 2026

Summary

This study tests whether injecting a green dye (ICG) during laparoscopic colon cancer surgery helps surgeons see and remove the right lymph nodes. About 25 adults with colon cancer will receive the dye during their operation. The goal is to see if all cancerous lymph nodes are within the dyed area, which could make surgery more precise.
