Gene test could end guesswork in IBD treatment
NCT ID NCT07644117
First seen Jun 13, 2026 · Last updated Jun 13, 2026
Summary
This study is looking for genetic clues that might predict how well people with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) will respond to a common treatment called anti-TNF therapy. Researchers will collect blood samples from 40 patients who have not used anti-TNF before and track their response over time. The goal is to personalize treatment and reduce the trial-and-error approach currently used.
