NCT ID NCT06681233
First seen Jun 27, 2026 ยท Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study tests a new type of CT scanner called HyperSight, designed to produce clearer images during radiation therapy for cancer. About 50 adults with various cancers will receive their daily radiation using both the new and standard imaging. Researchers will compare image quality to see if HyperSight can help doctors better target tumors and reduce errors.
What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only โ not medical advice or a prediction.
- Active substance
- HyperSight CBCT imaging device
- What this could lead to
- If successful, this could improve the accuracy and efficiency of daily radiation therapy for cancer patients by providing clearer images.
- What could go wrong
- This is an early feasibility study with only 50 participants, so results may not apply broadly. The new imaging may not show significant improvement over current methods.
