Summary

This study tests whether hydroxychloroquine, a medicine used for malaria and autoimmune conditions, can safely improve breathing in children with a rare genetic lung disease. About 60 children under 18 with a confirmed genetic cause will receive either the drug or a placebo. The main goal is to see if oxygen levels and breathing rates get better.
