First seen Mar 28, 2026 · Last updated Jun 15, 2026 · Updated 11 times
Summary
This study looked at how brain energy levels change in people with early Huntington disease. Ten adults had their brain metabolism measured using a special MRI scan while they watched flashing lights. The goal was to understand how mitochondria (the energy factories in cells) work in this condition, not to test a treatment.
