New hope for diabetic nerve pain? early trial underway

Summary
This study tests a new medicine called HRS-2129 for people with diabetic nerve pain in their hands and feet. About 168 Chinese adults will receive either the new drug, a placebo (dummy pill), or an approved painkiller (pregabalin) to see if it safely reduces pain. The main goal is to measure pain relief after 4 weeks of treatment.
