Home HPV test kits aim to reach women missing vital cancer screenings
NCT ID NCT07336134
Summary
This study is testing whether two different at-home HPV self-collection kits are a good alternative to a doctor's Pap smear for cervical cancer screening. It focuses on helping minority women aged 25-65 who have fallen behind on their screenings, often due to barriers like language or access. Community health workers will lead workshops to teach women how to use the kits and see if this approach makes screening easier and more acceptable.
