Simple blood test may spot returning throat cancer sooner

Summary

This study looks at whether a blood test that finds HPV DNA can spot throat cancer coming back after treatment, possibly earlier than usual scans. Researchers will follow 200 patients with HPV-positive oropharyngeal cancer to see how accurate the test is. The goal is to improve monitoring and reduce unnecessary procedures.
