Summary

This study looked at how often a specific gene change (called HOXB13 c.853delT) occurs in men with prostate cancer in Martinique. Researchers tested 465 men of African descent who had prostate cancer. The goal was to find out how common this gene change is, which may help understand why prostate cancer rates are so high in this population.
