Summary

This study looked at how hospital doctors, nurses, and social workers feel about treating opioid use disorder (OUD) while patients are in the hospital. Researchers surveyed 400 healthcare workers across 12 hospitals in Colorado. The goal was to understand current practices and see if prescribing medications like buprenorphine and methadone changed after a new treatment program was put in place.
