Summary
This study tested whether a smartphone app (HOPE or SMART) paired with a Fitbit could help women with recurrent gynecologic cancer manage symptoms and improve quality of life during chemotherapy. 102 women participated, using the app to track symptoms and receive advice, while wearing a Fitbit to monitor activity. The main goal was to see if this approach was practical and acceptable to patients, not yet to prove it improves health.
