Your home could soon help spot dementia before doctors do

NCT ID NCT06704971

Summary

This study is testing if small, in-home cameras and sensors can spot early changes in mood and daily behavior that might signal memory problems or dementia. Researchers at Stanford University are working with 25 older adults to see if this technology can provide clearer, more frequent information than occasional doctor visits. The goal is to create a tool that helps doctors make more accurate and timely diagnoses by monitoring people in their own homes.
