Nurses bring hope home: fighting pain and depression in aging
NCT ID NCT07228520
Summary
This study is testing a program where nurses visit older adults in their homes to help them better manage chronic pain and feelings of depression. Over eight weekly visits, nurses will work one-on-one with participants to set personal goals, teach pain and mood management skills, and connect them with local resources. The goal is to see if this support can reduce how much pain interferes with daily life and ease depressive symptoms.
