First seen May 12, 2026 ยท Last updated May 12, 2026
Summary
This study tested whether a home-based exercise program using exergaming (video games that require physical activity) could improve fitness in people with COPD. 92 participants were split into two groups: one used the exergaming system with remote supervision by a physiotherapist for 12 weeks, while the other received standard care. The goal was to see if the exergaming group had better physical fitness, quality of life, and fewer hospital visits.
