First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study tests whether a 12-week home exercise program, guided by a mobile app and smartwatch, can improve exercise capacity and quality of life in people with a left ventricular assist device (LVAD). About 78 participants who recently got an LVAD and cannot attend hospital rehab will be randomly assigned to either the home exercise program or usual care. The study will measure walking distance, safety, and emotional well-being.
