First seen Mar 05, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 7 times

Summary

This study tests whether a home-based exercise plan delivered through a digital health app can help sedentary heart attack survivors overcome fear of movement (kinesiophobia) and improve their physical function. Researchers will enroll 88 people who had a heart attack at least 3 months ago and sit for more than 8 hours daily. Participants will use the app for 4 weeks, and changes in fear levels and walking distance will be measured.
