First seen Nov 17, 2025 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 18 times

Summary

This study tests a treatment called HIVEC, which delivers heated chemotherapy directly into the bladder for people with high-grade bladder cancer that hasn't spread into the muscle. It's for patients whose cancer didn't respond to standard BCG therapy and who cannot or choose not to have their bladder removed. The goal is to see if this approach is safe and can keep the cancer from coming back for at least 12 months.
