Summary
This study tested four different HIV vaccine combinations in 92 healthy volunteers at low risk of HIV infection. The goal was to see which combinations were safest and best at triggering an immune response. Researchers used a prime-boost approach, giving an initial vaccine followed by a booster, to try to improve protection against HIV.
