Rewards and support boost HIV prevention in drug users

Summary
This study tests a 24-week program that uses small rewards and extra support to help people with opioid use disorder stick with their daily HIV prevention pill (PrEP). About 526 participants who have injected drugs will be followed for a year to see if the program improves medication adherence and reduces risky behaviors. The goal is to find a practical way to prevent HIV in this high-risk group.
