Summary
This study follows 298 older adults with HIV in Zambia to compare brain health between those who have had HIV for a long time (7+ years) and those with a shorter infection (1-2 years). Researchers will track memory, thinking, mental health, frailty, and nerve health over 6 years. The goal is to understand if longer HIV infection leads to faster brain aging.
