Sound waves join chemo in fight against spreading liver cancer
NCT ID NCT07044362
Summary
This study tests whether combining a non-invasive ultrasound treatment called histotripsy with standard chemotherapy works better for people with advanced colorectal cancer that has spread to the liver. About 100 participants will receive both treatments to see if this combination helps control the cancer longer and improves survival. The research aims to find a better way to manage liver tumors that cannot be surgically removed.
