Summary

This study tests a radiation method that treats the entire brain and spinal cord but avoids the hippocampus, a memory center. It is for adults with breast or lung cancer that has spread to the fluid and tissues around the brain and spine. The goal is to see if this approach can delay cancer progression and reduce memory-related side effects.
