Summary
This study aims to understand if a brief memory test given before hip replacement surgery can help predict which older patients might experience sudden confusion after their operation. Researchers will observe about 400 patients aged 65 and older across several hospitals in the Czech Republic. The study does not change any standard medical care; it only collects information to see if the test is useful for future patient safety.
