First seen Jun 25, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study is testing a new type of dental implant with a special surface (EK III NH) in 30 adults aged 20-80 who are missing teeth. Participants receive the implant and a temporary tooth replacement right away. Researchers will track how well the implant works over two years using dental exams and X-rays to check bone levels and stability.

What this could mean

Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.

Active substance

dental implant with new surface (EK III NH)

What this could lead to

If successful, this could show that the new implant surface helps keep bone stable around the implant, leading to better long-term outcomes for people with missing teeth.

What could go wrong

This is a small, early study with only 30 participants and no comparison group. Results may not apply to everyone, and the implant could fail or cause complications like infection or bone loss.
