This study looked at how adding high-intensity interval training (HIIT) to regular hockey practice affects teenage girls' fitness. Twenty-four players either did their usual training or added HIIT three times a week for eight weeks. The HIIT group improved their endurance, balance, reaction time, and jumping ability, though they lost some flexibility.
