First seen Feb 19, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 12 times

Summary

This study looks at whether high-intensity laser therapy (HILT) can ease pain and improve hand function in people with mild-to-moderate carpal tunnel syndrome. About 80 adults will get either real laser treatment or a sham version, plus a wrist splint. Researchers will measure pain, nerve signals, and ultrasound images over three months to see if the laser helps.
