First seen May 08, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study looked at whether high-intensity walking exercise can reduce fatigue and improve walking in people with multiple sclerosis (MS). Twelve adults with MS who had walking difficulties and significant fatigue took part. They completed a high-intensity gait training program, and researchers measured changes in fatigue, walking speed, and brain activity. The goal was to see if this type of exercise could offer a non-drug way to manage common MS symptoms.
