NCT ID NCT03342625
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study tests whether high-intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU) can destroy breast tumors without surgery. Fifteen women with small, early-stage breast cancers will receive HIFU before their planned surgery. The main goal is to see if the ultrasound completely kills the tumor cells, with success measured by lab analysis of the removed tissue.
