Can a stronger radiation dose ease bulky tumors better?

NCT ID NCT07291895

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Aug 13, 2026 · Updated 2 times

Summary

This study compares standard palliative radiotherapy (24 Gray in 3 sessions) with a higher dose (27 Gray in 3 sessions) for people with large metastatic tumors. The goal is to see if the higher dose improves tumor control without more side effects. About 20 adults with solid tumors and limited life expectancy will take part, and neither they nor their doctors will know which dose they receive.
