Summary
This study compares two types of breathing machines in 348 premature babies (born before 32 weeks) who have respiratory distress syndrome. The goal is to see if a newer method called HFOV-VG reduces the chance of severe chronic lung disease or death compared to standard high-frequency ventilation. The approach aims to provide more stable, gentle breaths to protect fragile lungs.
