First seen Dec 29, 2025 · Last updated Jun 12, 2026 · Updated 29 times

Summary

This study looked at how different airflow levels from two new high-flow nasal cannula (HFNC) devices affect lung aeration in 26 healthy adults. Participants tried various flow settings while their lung volume and comfort were measured. The goal was to understand how device settings impact breathing, not to treat any disease.
