First seen Jun 27, 2026 ยท Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study compares four ways to prepare patients with large incisional hernias before surgery: Botox injections, gradual air inflation in the belly (pneumoperitoneum), both combined, or standard care. The goal is to see which approach helps surgeons close the hernia more safely and with fewer complications. About 120 adults will take part.
