Tracking hemophilia from pregnancy to childhood to unlock medical mysteries

NCT ID NCT07414511

Summary

This study aims to learn more about hemophilia A by following mother-child pairs from pregnancy through the child's early years. Researchers want to understand why some mothers with severe hemophilia have dangerous bleeding after childbirth and why some children develop antibodies that block their treatment. The study will collect health information and samples from about 120 pregnant mothers at risk of having a child with severe hemophilia A, their babies, and some family members.
