Hot or cold? study tests therapies to ease common Runner's knee pain
NCT ID NCT07293195
Summary
This study aims to see if adding heat therapy or contrast (hot/cold) therapy to a standard exercise program works better for reducing pain, swelling, and movement problems in adults with chronic kneecap pain. Researchers will compare two groups of 40 participants, each doing the same exercises but with a different added therapy. The goal is to find which combination helps people move better with less pain in their daily lives.
