Scientists decode heart pump data to predict patient crises
NCT ID NCT06039176
Summary
This study aims to understand the data from HeartMate 3 heart pumps to see if it can predict medical problems and improve patients' quality of life. Researchers will collect data from 150 adults who have received this specific pump, looking for patterns that might warn of issues like bleeding, infection, or stroke before they become serious. The goal is to help doctors use the pump's information to provide better, more proactive care for people with advanced heart failure.
