Heart surgery vs stents: which saves more lives with weak hearts?
NCT ID NCT07269366
Summary
This study compares two common heart procedures—bypass surgery (CABG) and stent placement (PCI)—for people with weakened heart pumps and multiple clogged arteries. Researchers will follow 358 patients for 4 years to see which approach leads to better survival, fewer heart problems, and improved quality of life. The results aim to help doctors choose the best treatment for this high-risk group.
