Heart surgery vs stent: which saves more lives in weak hearts?
NCT ID NCT07269366
Summary
This study aims to find out which heart procedure works better for people with weakened heart muscle and multiple blocked arteries. Researchers will compare traditional open-heart bypass surgery (CABG) against the less invasive stent procedure (PCI) in 358 patients. They will track survival rates, major heart problems, and quality of life over four years to determine which approach provides better long-term results.
