Your heartbeat may reveal if IBD drugs will work
NCT ID NCT07475052
First seen Mar 26, 2026 · Last updated Apr 28, 2026 · Updated 3 times
Summary
This study looks at whether heart rate variability (how your heart rate changes) can help predict if people with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) will respond to biologic therapy. About 100 adults starting infliximab or vedolizumab will wear a heart monitor and a sleep tracker for several weeks. The goal is to see if heart patterns early on can tell doctors which patients are likely to get better, so treatment can be personalized.
