First seen Jan 08, 2026 · Last updated Apr 28, 2026 · Updated 10 times

Summary

This study tests whether a heart MRI can be done safely and successfully in children with cancer who have recently had sepsis. The goal is to find hidden heart problems that may need treatment. About 7 children aged 9 to 25 will get a heart MRI within 10 days of their sepsis diagnosis. The results will help doctors decide if more heart monitoring or medication is needed.
